Well since my DPC3010's leds are all green i'm assuming i'm still only one upstream channel.
since going to windows 7 my modem won't let me view its logs.
what color are the leds when you're bonding upstream channels?

As posted in the other thread, this went live in Metairie (New Orleans suburb) zip 70002 about Dec. 19th, give or take a couple days.

In speed test, it's 15-17mbps upload the whole time, but it reads in at 11-13mbps every time. I don't know if the upload test is broken at higher speeds or what.

Yes, his upload was so fast he was able to post it before it happened. Its a new feature of Google. :-D

Anyone in RI have upstream yet? I could have sworn I saw a D3 modem with the blue upstream light at a Cox store when I went in to grab a new remote. I may have been seeing things (it was behind the counter) or it may have been them testing it?

They have a status page you can view. But that is about all you can see or do. Can't access any logs or diagnostic info.

Typo. I meant Dec 19th.

they do but they're just very limited on what they'll let you see. I know the moto has blue led for bond but what if anything does the cisco have for upstream bond.

That's weird.. the OS shouldn't affect whether you view a webpage or not.

Upstream bonding
Seeing this over in River Ridge (70123) on Citrus between Hickory and Jefferson Highway. It has been like this for a couple of weeks (both lights on the Motorola 6120 blue).

what's your zip?
i have been contemplating making the jump to a d3 modem, but i wanted to get bonding in both directions.
once it goes live in this area, i'll probably bite.

I'm very surprised that, at least from what this thread shows, Jefferson Parish Louisiana is getting upstream bonding before most other Cox markets. We aren't exactly the tech capitol of the region, are we?

Well it looks like your market is being used as the launch point/customer testing of upstream channel bonding. Also it may not be the best ideal to test something like this in a high customer area for cox. I think only select few area's in the LA market is bonding, and probably as much a surprise to us, as it is to some of the people who work for cox. Also no one should expect any added area's of upstream channel bonding being active until after the 1st of the year. Since it's the holiday season, and projects like these are most likely put on hold till after the 1st of next year.

Also as much as everyone wants to see there area lit up with upstream channel bonding, this process will still probably be slower then we all like. Because there is a good chance the one's with bonding on the upstream, is part of a test launch by cox. Hopefully everything is mostly positive, with few issue's that need to be worked out, so more, and more markets can be lit up as well. Because like I mention before I think most, if not all D3 area's of cox don't need much to be done to start upstream channel bonding. Since I am sure the upgraded D3 equipment like the CMTS is upstream channel bonding ready, plus with the added downstream channel's for bonding, means added upstream channel's. So there should be more then a couple upstream channels available for bonding already.
