 | [Wireless] WET610N TCP checksum problem seems to be solved I am the same "Crawdad" who was quoted in a 2-year-old WET610N thread as having diagnosed a problem in which the WET610N recomputes TCP checksums of packets it bridges, and does so incorrectly if the packet is short. (Less than 64 bytes, including ethernet headers.)
I just installed firmware 1.0.05 on my bridge and tried several web sites while capturing packets with tcpdump. The problem seems to be solved.
(A pity the release notes were too sketchy ... and that the developer in Cisco I explained the bug to never wrote me to say when it was fixed.) |

 | Hmmm...I have two of these devices in my network and have installed the latest firmware. Not sure how your "bug" actually affects them in real world situations? Care to elaborate? Thanks. |
