[Services] What happened to AT&T DSL Connection Information

AT&T DSL Connection Information - the website that allows one to check their speeds and to restart or otherwise fix modem problems at:

This last month it hasn't been there (browser just keeps reporting "Connecting") and without it fixing a problem with speed and restarting one's modem - well, I cannot remember how to do it without that website (Westell).

what kind of modem do you use? did you change your modem? that address looks like the address of a modem

192.168.xxx.xxx addresses are private addresses used by modems, routers etc. I use a speedstream 4100 modem and my 'Connection Information' is at »192.168.0.1/

Yikes! What a dummy I've been.

Ok... it's my Westell F90-6000 Series ADSL Modem. Why cannot I access it now?

Should I unplug it and hope it comes back?

I don't really know! a friend of mine had the same problem (couldn't access modem) once and I think it was because the modem was in 'bridge mode'. after he put it in 'pppoe mode' he could access it. but I don't know if that applies to you. can someone more knowledgeable help?

Should I unplug it and hope it comes back?

why not? it shouldn't hurt!
