This last month it hasn't been there (browser just keeps reporting "Connecting") and without it fixing a problem with speed and restarting one's modem - well, I cannot remember how to do it without that website (Westell). |

192.168.xxx.xxx addresses are private addresses used by modems, routers etc. I use a speedstream 4100 modem and my 'Connection Information' is at »192.168.0.1/ |

Ok... it's my Westell F90-6000 Series ADSL Modem. Why cannot I access it now?
Should I unplug it and hope it comes back? |

I don't really know! a friend of mine had the same problem (couldn't access modem) once and I think it was because the modem was in 'bridge mode'. after he put it in 'pppoe mode' he could access it. but I don't know if that applies to you. can someone more knowledgeable help?
Should I unplug it and hope it comes back? why not? it shouldn't hurt! |
