Can't read my own post in Charter Direct

Yes. In the main Charter Direct Forum page, which lists all recent posts, tigerred53 is listed as the OP of the post "Newly installed service drops out randomly."

I'm just guessing here. When you actually go to the Direct forum, the URL changes from www.dslreports.com to secure.dslreports.com.

For example:

That's exactly what the problem was! I tried in Internet Explorer (as opposed to my usual Firefox) and everything worked fine. I had noticed earlier that whenever I visited the Charter Direct Forum, the login and register links appeared beside the DSLReports logo at the top of the site as if I had been logged out. That's also when the switch over to https takes place, so it all make sense now. I'm not sure why Firefox has started acting up like this though, since it was fine a couple days ago.
