Zerny join:2007-05-04 Fort Gratiot, MI | Halo Reach Flamming Helmets Hello DSLR,
Happy Holidays to everyone on the Boards.
My sons 11 and 7 are constanly on me about the flamming helmets in Halo Reach. I thought you could only get these if you had bought the Legandary Edition way back when? My youngest says you can get them for free online? I told him it was most likely a scam to get your Windows Live ID am I wrong? I dont mind playing a few dollars for the helmet, but I googled it and the sites that came up looked fishy at best.
Thanks for any help Ken |

Either way, check ebay. -- »[Info] The DSLR Orangeface extension 2.0! |

|
 | last i checked, you could only get the original flaming helmets with the Legendary edition.
i've been told, you can however, use some iOS related app to acquire a nuclear blue flamey skull helmet and the "Bungie" nameplate apparently.
i have not done so. |

i have not done so. I can't really check as I already have the helmet (I'm a sucker for statues) and I have not played the game in a looooooong while (big ass backlog). Oh well, do what cb2 said and get a flaming helmet that way. -- From Psychonauts - Lungfish Civilian: (describing Goggalor) He's impervious to bullets! ... and love! -- |

1 edit | reply to Zerny In Halo: Reach, Bungie allowed people to get the flaming helmets by completing challenges/tasks. In previous Halo games, it was only given to a select few who I'm pretty sure had to basically be close to Bungie in some way.
In Reach, they changed it so people could achieve them by doing certain things. What these different things were I do not know off the top of my head. |
