ARIN has allocated the last /8 on 2/3/11.

The IANA free pool of IPv4 addresses has reached 0%.

Of the RIR it looks like APNIC will deplete it's allocation
first. They're already rationing new deployments to
a /22.

Annoying band-aids will come ala CGN.

What I'm curious about is if this is all BS can you provide
some respected links or coverage saying we've got
plenty of IPV4 addresses and no worries? Thanks...

And your point being? You don't wait until the very last minute to flip the switch and enable v6 on hundreds of millions of routers/servers, etc. over night and hope that everything works out Ok.
