I have a feeling that some people are going to be fired this month. |

| reply to trparky Remember when jet engines were new to the world and if you ran the rpm a little too high for a little too long, you got great balls of fire from engine failure? Well maybe Verizon is pushing to deploy the new LTE technology a little too fast. Also remember that going from CDMA to LTE was predicted by some to be much more difficult than the GSM networks going to LTE. Maybe the learning curve is too steep for technicians used to dealing with CDMA for Verizon to deploy as quickly as they have. Notice the not so great reviews of the LTE modems on the Verizon Wireless website. I think even the hardware manufacturers rushed this equipment into the market before it was really ready. Welcome to the world of cutting edge technology development. It is similar to when software companies deploy a product that needs 100 fixes in the first 100 days on the market. You, the buying public are now what used to be called Beta testers. |

All I could get when the system crashed was phone. I finally rebooted my Thunderbolt and was able to get EVDO rev 0 back. I finally got 3g back. If 4g goes down why is it so bloody hard to get the phone to 3g? |

| reply to musicnyc I agree with dlathem, My thunderbolt would not hold a 3G connection, it would fall into 1X, nothing, then 3G, then nothing... it was all over the place. It looks like its back up now, I hope they find out what is causing these and fix them ASAP... I left AT&T because their network was like this here in Denver... -- TorDek: "DSLR... Here, were not just experts... were also vindictive bastards..." |

 | reply to musicnyc this knocked out my iPhone 4 3g as well so it was not just 4g that went down. I rebooted the phone this morning and got it back. i hope this is not going to become a new norm. |

HallPremium,MVM join:2000-04-28 Dayton, OH kudos:1 | One problem, for some, is that the phone will keep trying to pick up a 4G signal and put a serious drain on the battery.
When I know there's an outage or I'm at work (no 4G available), I force my TBolt to 3G only and effectively turn on 4G. |
