[Services] DSL Service Availability Request

My neighbors around me have ATT DSL; however, when I check my address it says it is not available. How is this possible?

Address: 1005 Barker Drive, White Pine, TN 37890

Could be a database error or your address is serviceable but all available DSLAM or RT ports are full.

what he said and agreeing... I had a whole neighborhood that was told by the online tool (not me) they couldnt get u-verse but I knew they were fed out of a crossbox with u-verse pairs. I got in touch with the engineer and it went to some database group who fixed it. Now, usually average folks don't know which way the cable feeds but I've seen a customer with a big RT site IN HIS YARD and he couldnt get DSL. Its because that site feeds down the road AWAY from the CO and his crossbox. Because of the increased demand of each customer they might be locking out ports when customers go off the DSLAM (instead of building out the network, yes I know). I have heard this rumor but cannot confirm. Also there are instances where they lock down a DSLAM before upgrade work I guess to "freeze" the subscriber picture. Speak with a service tech or DLC tech who knows the area

This is what I am facing right now with ATT Uverse Vdsl. I can see the vrad box from my complex, its approximately 300 feet from me and the online tool says i can only get internet and im on ipdsl currently running on 8000 feet of copper when they sold me a 12M plan (I was unaware there were different uverse internet setups because they only talk about fiber on their website). But the address across the street and behind me qualifies for Uverse so our lines are running the same direction. My copper actually runs into the box right next to the Vrad but is not patched in. I have finally gotten them to do an address validation which I am sure will fix the discrepancy but ATT tools for availability say I can get but only if i am going to be moving to my current address and talking to customer service sales I get conflicting information, one says I can get full Uverse others say I cannot. A line tech that fixed my line chatted with me next to the box and said there's no reason why you can't, just need to be patched in.
