[Speed] news servers

is it me or have they downgrade the news servers?
i used to get 4 connecton at 8mb now i cant hit 2mb with 4 connection i checked my bill is showing 10mb speed aney one else having the same problem?

That means if you try to run more then 4 connections to there news server it may block your access to it or stop the connections.

I too am having slow speeds, I'm maxing out right now at 280 kB/s where earlier this month it was at 900 kB/s...I think they're trying to rid of it.

I'm only getting about 4 meg till about 2am central time. Then it ramps up to the normal speed. I'm betting that the news host is saturated.

yeah, it has become very slow. At first I thought it was because of the time of year, kids are off, more internet traffic, but it hasn't gotten any better the last couple of days.
