Re: Actiontec MI424WR FIOS N Router REV. I I just got home and was not there for the installation. I received a MI424WR Rev. I.
Here is one of my results:

Another of my results:

I am a little disappointed at the upload speeds. Many were in the 20's, but many were also in the single digits. I think I may be having some trouble in my area because I had some single digit results in the upload speeds for the 35/35 service that I had before. I thought that was because of using wireless most of the time, but now that I am doing the tests for my 150/35 service connected via Ethernet I know that is not the case. Btw, I tried resetting my ONT by disconnecting the power cable and battery for 1 minute. |

I'd be curious to see the kind of results it gives you compared to speedtest.net considering it's within the VZ network. |

 | Just curious; if this is a new FiOS install, have you run the Verizon Optimizer on the PC you're doing the speedtests from? It will make several changes to the tcp stack on your PC that make a noticeable impact on upload performance. |

 | No I didn't run the optimizer. I mostly use my Mac, so I will run the Apple Broadband Tuner 1.0 and see what happens. I will also run the Verizon optimizer on all the PC's. I wonder if there are any optimizers for the XBOX 360, PS3, Wii, iPod Touch, and iPhone? |
