 | Help Desk Ticketing Software & Accounting Software What do you guys use for Help Desk Ticketing software and what do you use for Accounting software for your business?
We currently use Zendesk for our Help Desk and Freshbooks for our Accounting but we would like to switch to something that we can host at our location and don't have to pay by the month for.
Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. |

For Accounting we use Great Plains |

Our Accounting software is proprietary to Xerox. Its not good. |

 | reply to ComputerPros Help desk, Spiceworks. We also use it for our KB for end users, very handy.
For accounting, since we are a school district it is integrated with our Student Information System, but my wife the accountant likes Peach Tree and Great Plains. Dislikes Quickbooks. -- How lucky am I to have known someone who is so hard to say good-bye to. |

1 edit | reply to ComputerPros This is a pretty solid help desk software for the price. It's by far the cheapest per seat I've ran into that gets the job done. »www.resource-dynamics.com/helpdesk.asp
What are you trying to do with 'accounting software'? That's a large scope item where different packages could work depending on the usage. I'd guess you want something like Peachtree. That's a solid middle tier software that will give you more then the low tier Intuit stuff. »www.peachtree.com/productsservices/complete |

 | reply to ComputerPros I know of a help desk system that you can host on your own site, but not sure about any that dont have a monthly subscription fee. The one were hosting internally is Focalscope |
