Edit: After reboot, there was no icon on the task bar. Under the "Options" tab the box to start WinPatrol when Windows starts was unchecked.
I checked it and it unchecked itself. Checked again and seems to be holding for now.
Anybody else noticed this? |

I've noticed in the past with upgrades that WinPatrol has a tendency to put itself into the startup list TWICE... which can cause it to fail at load. I've had to play around with the option "start WinPatrol when Windows starts" check box after upgrading. I decided this time around to fully uninstall it with Revo first. The install went well from a clean start... no issues. I did however need to write down my reg code prior.

There are also reports of AVG flagging WinPatrol as a virus.  Of course this is totally not the case.
