2 edits | [ps3] Converters to use KB/M or 360 game pad on PS3? I have been a FPS on PC for years and good at it. This Xmass the wife bought me a PS3 320GB. I need to set this up using a KB/M. Yea I know people tell me give it time to get use to the game pad. Not happening. FPS games came from the PC and built around the KB/M. I been playing for 4 days and don't have one kill yet.
Been doing some research on the net and I see they be a XIM3 and a PS3 Eagle Eye Mouse and Keyboard Converter or use the XCM Cross Battle Adapter Xbox 360 Controller on a PS3. I like the fact that the XCM will let me use the Xbox 360 gaming pads if I was to do so. Seeing as the 360 game pad seams to be better than the PS3.
Can some one confirm if the last up date from Sony for the PS3 make these converters useless.

If I have this right I can use XIM3 with the converter and use my choice of KB/M or use the 360 game pad.
Please chime in and give some feed back.
Also have looked into the Splitfish FRAGFX SHARK with some good reviews.

and T.A.C. 3 and the mouse seams to suck and button location is not good.
