USG 100 IP/MAC Binding crashes interface..

(posted on ZyXEL forum as well)

Whenever I enable IP/MAC Binding on lan1 or ext_wlan it will take down that interface.. disabling IP/MAC binding reenables the interface. I have tried this with IP's inside the DHCP pool, outside the DHCP pool, and with no IP's in the Binding table. All three scenarios cause it to crash the interface.

What should I look at? Here are part of the config file that may be helpful..

Not sure, I use this feature on a USG100 without issue.
Suggest you call tech support 800-255-4101 ext 5.

Figured it out.. The IP Range of my manually configured clients were not part of the IP/MAC Binding Exempt list..

Too funny you configured yourself out of functionality. Perhaps you have too many lists.

It may also be helpful to avoid IP ranges that encompass the addresses the USG uses for its PPP interface.
