 | I'm in Florida City, FL right now at the end of the Florida Turnpike. Sprint Smartview is showing 4 & 5 bars ("good" to "great") signal strength. Throughput is nothing! I can't download my email let alone surf. I'm using the Novatel 720 USB air card. As far as I know, I'm fully patched.
I've called Sprint twice now asking for help without results.

I was in this location 2 years ago with similar results. It's not like I'm out in the sticks with a poor signal for crying out loud. I'm not right in the middle of town but I'm close to it.
Can anyone offer any ideas to improve my service or a way of lighting a fire under Sprint to get them to fix this? |

| Right now in the 28801 and 28806 zip codes, (Asheville, NC), for the last couple of months, ping times are in the 900+ range, Download goes between 0.06 and 0.28.. Upload seems to be faster. It's certainly slowed down since October. I'm using an Evo 4g.
Supposedly there have been upgrades to the towers for voice and data, but you sure couldn't tell it from using your phone. --
