You need a wireless router that the 4G USB modem will work with. Cardlepoint makes some of the best routers for this use. I have the MBR-1000 that is no longer in production but works very good with 4G modems. It can be found on eBay but you should update it with the latest firmware when you get it.

Also, you can use an extension USB cord to place the modem in a better signal location away from the router.

If I buy the hot spot what would I have to do then? Do you think I could get an adapter that will work with the linksys router I have?

Re: Wireless with Verzion

The Verizon Hotspot MiFi is all you need, it supports up to 5 wifi wireless devices like your Kindle.

Re: Wireless with Verizon

Or if you dont want to change out your device, try this »www.amazon.com/CRADLEPOINT-Cradl···0&sr=8-2

you can plug in your desktop via ethernet cable and also have wifi for your kindle.
