it's a personal decision, I know the risks but choose not to. Not much different than eating food that you like, even knowing the risks... or people who smoke. I don't need or want the government to be my nanny. As long as you can afford your own hospital bills I see no reason to wear a helmet! |

Mullica Hill, NJ | brings me to an idea to replace helmet and seatbelt laws with some form of limited liability laws. in that if an accident is proven to be your fault for one thing the ability for you or your insurance carrier to sue the other driver or their insurance carrier is automatically waived in relation to injuries from the accident..
in short if they find safety devices could have prevented injury or death and the accident is the fault of the one injured or dead they(or family) lose the right to sue in such a case.
on the other hand I say leave nothing changed if the other driver is at fault, so that if a drunk kills someone hes on the line for all the cash and felonies available with in the law.

I'd rather "live on my feet, than die on my knees", live life to the fullest, or why live at all. Have made it 60 years so far, why change now?
I have a fully comprehensive health insurance plan... in 2007 when I was in hospital for 5 days and nights with pneumonia, it didn't cost me one cent.
I'm more hoping for a "lights out scenario" if the worst happens. Actually, considering some of the cars I drive, they really aren't much more protective than a motorcycle.

Sounds not to differant form a law here in texas
If a light has been red for over 5min with no traffic in any direction then the light can be assumed to be broken and you're free to run it if its safe |
