I remember a video he made that he posted on YouTube talking about a game....funny guy....a real fan and a all around good guy. |

 | reply to rockotman It never matters what NFC team gets into the SB I always pick them as an NFC fan so I'm going with the Giants this year. |

sailorPremium join:2003-10-21 Long Island kudos:6 | reply to rockotman My emotions say Giants but I don't like one bit that the Giants are not showing any respect for Tom Brady & the Patriots.
Brady, like him or not, deserves respect for what he has done on the field and I think he is going to be one very angry and determined quarterback come Sunday. I sure wish the Giants weren't so cocky the past week or so. I feel they're making a huge mistake. Yes, they are on a roll but so is New England.

| Yea I wish they would talk a lot less. But who have the Patriots played in the last 10 games? Most of the teams they played had losing records. The struggled against the Ravens and were lucky to come away with a win.The Giants have been playing lights out on both sides of the ball and have played much better tougher teams in the 2nd half of the season and into the playoffs. Not sure if it will be close but I see the Giants winning big. The biggest unknown is turn overs which can turn a close game into a route. |

sailorPremium join:2003-10-21 Long Island kudos:6 1 edit | Just two examples of why I say to cocky for me.....The Patriots seem to be going about preparing quietly with respect for the Giants...Can't say the same for the Giants...or the NY media.....and that bothers me.
Oh well, just hoping for a good and close Superbowl game. |

OZZYBorn Again AtheistPremium join:2011-06-11 | It really is crazy. So, the Pats didn't get to beat a team over .500. It's not the Patriots fault those teams had poor records. And, the Giants backed into this themselves going 9-7 in the regular season and losing to some pretty bad teams.
Both teams are 0-0 going into Sunday, and by Monday one will be 0-1 and the other will be Champs. One game season, anything could happen. -- You Can't Kill Rock 'n' Roll! |

| reply to sailor Those headlines are from the media. They love to stir things up.Both teams pretty much respect each other. They know there in for a fight start to finish.I wish the game was played last Sunday.2 weeks of bullshit and hype and players get antsy and want to get on with it.Patriots are no less cocky then the Giants but they kind of hide it with veiled sarcasm. |

I'm going against sailors rules and picking with emotion rather than what I'm thinking may really happen. I think the Pats may win it in a close one. Not so much because the Giants have been cocky..(confidence ain't always such a bad thing as long as you can back it up) , but rather the 'revenge factor, and the fact the the Giants have already beat them and it may be tough to do it again.
But the bottom line here is there is no way I can root for the Pats! Therefore, my pick is (no surprise)...
NYG!
Hey, this is the way it should be. I hope the game comes right down to the wire just like this poll. The Giants win, I win the poll. The Giants lose, well...that depends. Ok, aurgathor , Rook008 , and Jackarino ...you don't have to wait any longer now to pick 'em. (I see dscl already went with the Giants)

 | I already figured there's a better than 95% chance that you'll pick the Giants. For one, they're a slightly better team right now. But that doesn't mean NE can't win. We'll see. -- Wacky Races 2012! |

jabarnutLight Years AwayPremium,MVM join:2005-01-22 Galaxy M31 kudos:2 | Oh, and just a thought, but if you guys were to all pick the Giants now we could get this silly trophy presentation over with early! But I have a really strange feeling it's just not going to work out quite that way. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

dscl join:2001-07-15 Suwanee, GA | reply to jabarnut I was thinking of going against whoever you went with since that was the only way I could win the poll, but I could not bring myself to go against Big Blue (Yes fully an emotional choice). So, if me losing the poll means Big Blue gets the ring, so be it!!! |
