2wire 2700HG-B, DSL light keep flashing green

Hi everyone, so here is my problem

I just subscribe to qwest/centurylink DSL internet service. It come with a Q1000, it works fine and nice.

However, I want to replace Q1000 with my 2wire 2700 since Q1000 is not really free and 2wire should do the job perfectly fine.

I upgrade 2wire to the newest firmware from qwest website and here is the problem: DSL light keeps flashing green, never go into red.

Besides that, it works fine. I use the same cord for Q1000. Is the input port of my 2wire broken? Is there any hope?

The q1000 is a vdsl modem
The 2wire is a adsl modem

Why do you want to use the 2wire

As I stated, I own 2wire already and I have to pay for the Q1000. Really? vdsl and adsl? Due to my previous research, I can just use 2wire 2700 HG for qwest internet. What's the real difference? Even on qwest/centurylink official website says I can use 2wire 2700.

Can you please clarify, because I went to their website, and they stated the same 2wire model would support qwest DSL.
