| Blade Runner: Out of print book. Out-Of-Print Blade Runner Sketchbook Now Online quote: Aside from being an amazing movie in and of itself, the look of Blade Runners world and design has influenced countless movies, shows, and games that have followed. The movie is filled with tons of iconic elements, from the flying police cars dubbed spinners to the multi-cultural marketplace where Deckard searches for a man who makes snakes. One of the coolest behind-the-scenes looks at the design of the film came in The Blade Runner Sketchbook, published back in 1982. It collects artwork by the legendary Syd Mead, Mentor Huebner, Charles Knode, Michael Kaplan, and Ridley Scott. Long since out of print, copies of the book fetch hefty prices online. Now, however, you can read the Sketchbook yourself for free.

It looks interesting, though in an adobe format. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.
| | Wow, thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to a possible 30th Anniversary edition of the film. Wasn't there talk at one time of a remake of the film? | | SnakeoilIgnore Button. The coward's feature.Premium join:2000-08-05 Mentor, OH kudos:1 Reviews:

| I guess they are going to make a "Point Break" sequel, according to this link. »screenrant.com/blade-runner-sequ···-145596/ quote: Ridley Scott is planning to direct said Blade Runner movie and previously indicated that the project will (in all likelihood) be a semi-sequel that does not directly connect to the events/characters of his original 1982 sci-fi classic. However, with no screenwriter officially set and Scott being in contention to direct numerous in-development projects, theres been some question as to just when exactly this second Blade Runner title will fully begin pre-production.
Of course Ridley is tied up with the new Alien movie, so Bladerunner is off in the future still, if ever.
IMO, I can't see how they could improve on Bladerunner. It's a great movie, the way it is [the directors version]. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.
