Weird Support style

I just called them as I was having an issue with the modem resetting.
I talked to the CSR who would put me on hold to talk to a Senior Tech, this went back and forth, never used a company that did this for support, usually I just get transferred if the first CSR cant help me.

Is this normal for Cable One?

My guess is you got a tech that was still in training and was putting you on hold to ask his or her trainer.
