Newbie here. HNY to you as well!
I tried searching for this but wasn't sure what to actually search for. Way back when... I had Verizon for my DSL service. I accidentally spilled chocolate milk on my Verizon wireless router, and was forced to purchase a new one from Verizon. I now no longer have Verizon but was able to keep the router. I have Time Warner cable now. I'd like to use this Verizon wireless router with my TW internet service now. I'm getting an 192 address from the wireless but can't seem to get anywhere with it. Does anyone know if this is even possible? Do i need to configure/remove something on the router to make this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

If that doesn't work, then it might not be possible. Some of the newer firmware removed support for that.

Click the my network icon
Click the network connections link
Click the versaport link
Select the wan uplink option....
The page will refresh with the dhcp client enabled
Click the apply button
Connect the 7500 e1/uplink port to the cable modem |
