Re: farewell bellsouth/att dsl Don't blame you for cutting the cord with BS/AT&T. Their customer service on a good day is abysmal. My 6mb DSL service rarely made the grade. The land line worked intermittently. Customer service repeatably told me I have a wiring problem in my house which I don't. I work from home a lot so the DSL needed to be stable. No way that was happening and I was not getting what I paid for.
I recently switched to Comcast and have never been happier. They delivered on their promises, came and set up without issue. The tech said my home cable and phone wiring is fine. Everything works. U-Verse is now available where I live. It costs more and they want a large install fee that is three times the $50 I paid to Comcast. Their packages, even with special offers are not competitive. The message I am getting is that they don't want my business, so now they don't have it. |
