Rocklin, CA | [Modem] 2wire Home Portal 1800HG problem. HELP!! Hello, newby here.
I have a 2wire Home Portal 1800HG that has been in service since 2005. Had to replace the power supply a year or so ago, but other than that it's been working okay. But....I recently got a netbook and laptop that use windows 7. Neither of them will connect to the internet using wifi. They both work fine if plugged into the 1800HG using an ethernet cable. My old laptops with Windows XP connect just fine using wifi. And the Windows 7 commuters connect to any other wifi just fine. Just not the 2wire 1800HG. I have ATT dsl pro(3.0Mbps). Any ideas as to the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
