| DSL Abilene TX All morning my dsl had been down. The dsl light continues to flash and every now and then the activity light will also. I disconnected from the router when I first saw the problem so the modem is connected directly to the computer. I have not done anything to my computer, it just happened this morning. Have there been any other reports for Abilene? BTW I am using att dial up for backup. |

| If anybody cares. Yep dsl was down in my area, according to the tech until Saturday 7th. I had to call them Sunday to say it was still not up. I FINALLY got it to tier 2 and they had me take off the filter on the modem. They also remotely reset my modem and had me enter my e-mail and password again using 192.168.0.1. |

tbone, does Abilene now have U-verse internet? That's what comes up when I check availability, instead of DSL. |

| I just put in my address and it says u-verse is not available. Does not surprise me, it will be a looooong time before Abilene will get fios. We are a +115,000 pop town but we don't act like it. It takes technology a long time to get here. |

There is no UVerse in Abilene and there will not be anytime soon.
If you want speeds over 6mbps (5.1mbps in reality) you'll need to go with Suddenlink and pay out the jackass for it. :-p
Also, FYI, even in areas with UVerse, AT&T UVerse is nothing like Verizon FIOS. |
