I have been trying to get this problem for over a month now..My speed is 10Mbps during the day,and as low as .23Mbs at night...2 techs have told me that yes I can get that speed, but cust service keeps telling me that my line can only handle 1.5Mbps ...bullcrap because techs have been here and they would run a test and get 10Mbps...I am on the 10mbps plan..ping time shows 322ms to verizon.net can anyone help?

modem is a westell 6100G

Your Co is probably oversold. Have u checked what your. Neighbors are getting?

Your best bet is to purchase D3 modem and switch to Comcast. If you can afford business grade connection, you could get something better and more reliable but unlikely faster or ad fast a u have now.

In the meantime if u need solid speed at night, short term fix is get prepaid tmobile broadband or clearwire.

There is an overloaded router in York that I had someone move a couple people off of once before. PM me your DSL # if you want me to check it out.

I'm having the same problem in York at my office and at my home. How do I get off the overloaded router? Verizon support is totally unresponsive.

Got rid of Verizon...were no help at all and still insisted to the end that my line was only capable of 1.5Mbps..and just got notice here that yes indeed what i KNEW from the start, that the router I was on was the overloaded router, too late now....nice way to drop the ball verizon, you SUCK...screaming at 30Mbps for even cheaper then I was paying for Verizon DSL..hope it was the 200 dollars you didnt want to credit me

See you later Verizon, MUCH later.....

Though thanks to TimK and a few of you from Verizon Direct that did try to help,to no avail...noone on Verizons other hand wanted to listen....you others did great !!
