 2 edits | slow dsl at night I have been trying to get this problem for over a month now..My speed is 10Mbps during the day,and as low as .23Mbs at night...2 techs have told me that yes I can get that speed,but cust service keeps telling me that my line can only handle 1.5Mbps ...bullcrap because techs have been here and they would run a test and get 10Mbps...I am on the 10mbps plan..ping time shows 322ms to verizon.net can anyone help?

i am on the internet enhanced package also,techs have come out and all numbers looked good from my end,I was told it was a problem that Harrisburg has to deal with.. help before I switch to Comcast please!

| Your Co is probably oversold. Have u checked what your. Neighbors are getting?
Your best bet is to purchase D3 modem and switch to Comcast. If you can afford business grade connection, you could get something better and more reliable but unlikely faster or ad fast a u have now.
In the meantime if u need solid speed at night, short term fix is get prepaid tmobile broadband or clearwire. |

 | reply to chgo_man99 Got rid of Verizon...were no help at all and still insisted to the end that my line was only capable of 1.5Mbps..and just got notice here that yes indeed what i KNEW from the start, that the router I was on was the overloaded router,too late now....nice way to drop the ball verizon, you SUCK...screaming at 30Mbps for even cheaper then I was paying for Verizon DSL..hope it was the 200 dollars you didnt want to credit me
