[Phone] Brighthouse Voicemail Indicator Not Working

I recently had a pair of older panasonic phones that the voicemail indicator stopped working on them. They were getting old so I figured it was time for new ones so today i purchased a 2 handset panasonic and the voicemail indicator light will not light up at all. I have tried rebooting my phone modem and still will not work. I even hooked up another older phone I had that I know that vm light works and it doesnt work. kx-tg4022 is the phone i purchased today. Has anyone else had this issue? If so how can i fix it? Thanks

If I remember correctly there is a setting in the actual setup of the phone that enables receiving the signal from us about pending VM's. I will try to find an online version of the operators manual for that phone and see what it says....

Okay...just to be clear I did some quick checking. Although some phones may work on our service with this feature it is unsupported. Tell me something though...when you pick up the phone and you have new msgs do you hear the stutter tone?

Interesting... okay do this... clear off your vm. Then call yourself and leave a NEW msg and see if it appears.

Alrighty...sorry I wish I could more of help at this point. I'll do some checking tomorrow when I get back into the office late in the day. In the meantime PM me your modem MAC and I'll have one of our phone guys look into it. Now remember...this feature is unsupported but I'll do the best I can.
