WNDR3400 firmware upgrade to 1.0.0.50 I just updated to the new firmware, and had a couple of questions and comments. First, I didn't perform a fresh factory reset after the upgrade as Netgear says to do in their instructions. Yet I noticed no issues, and the router info says I am now on 1.0.0.50. I have all the features present the upgrade promised. So do I still have to do a factory reset then if all is gravy already? Lastly, the new upgrade states readyshare USB support for up to 3 TB external hard drives. Hopefully the drives from the major companies like Western Digital, Seagate, etc. up to that size will finally be supported without any issues.

Well I did start to notice that 2 of our wireless G laptops would take longer than usual to connect to our wireless network. My smartphone w/wireless N would also intermittently drop its connection and then reconnect again. I did a reset today and so far the aforementioned issues have seemed to went away.

reply to mclasser This post might demand a separate thread, but Im just trying to find someone who has half a clue to get some help from. I too have a new wndr3400, my problem is after plugging in router(out of box new), only changing password, upgrading firmware, factory reset. If I type my ISP ip addy 75.84.xx.xx in a web browser, my router login comes up. Even I know that's not right. Do you think this is a firmware problem ? As I said above, I changed no router settings other than password, Remote management is NOT enabled, no port forwarding nothing changed out of box.
