| Cricket WiFi is a JOKE and a waste of time & money!!! I purchased the Cricket WiFi 3 months ago and it has been nothing but a pain and wasted expense! 3G my @$$! I'm in Tulsa, OK and a tower is less than 3 blocks from my house. Of course the sales pitch they used to get me to purchase their $150 WiFi stated State Wide Coverage throughout Oklahoma and beyond, but I guess that doesn't apply to my neighborhood less than 1/2 mile from the Cricket store! After numerous attempts to get a live person on the phone, they issued a service ticket to "FIX" the problem. That was on Dec 6, 2011 and as of today, Jan 5, 2012 the problem still has not resolved and the kicker is....Their Manager who does well to speak broken english told me that they would issue me the credits they felt I deserve AFTER they fix the problem. So I have to continue paying the $65 per month for their premium service until they finally get around to fixing the problem. In the meantime, the signal continually drops and the service is totally useless! In addition, their "UNLIMITED" service is pathetic because after you go over the 3 gigs the service slows way, way down and for the first 3 months they tried to tell me the problem was at the end of the month after I surpassed the 3 gigs. That would all be fine and good if I didn't have the issue from the first day of the billing cycle. Do yourself a favor and Run Like Hell In The Opposite Direction of this service, unless you enjoy spending money and endless hours trying to use a service that simply sucks at best! |
