| What ISP do you have? DSL or Cable?
It should handle it. Whats the supported max connection speed on the WAN port of the router? Newer modems and routers have Gb speed connections on the ports now. If cable, I recommend that Motorola SB 6121 or 6180 modems. I've seen a DIR-825 on a 100/5 |

Most N routers can handle 10/100/1000Mbps. Are you sure your ISP provides 100/5Mbps? The download speed is too high comparing with the upload (5Mbps) speed. It is kind of unreal, because like Verizon FiOS 25/25, or 30/25, the download is closed to the upload speed. |

| reply to epert New Link routers are cheap enough maybe you can find one that will work well for your needs. DGL-4500 is a great router along with a DIR-825 or a DIR-655. Kind of depends on what your network needs are, gaming, media, just surfing? What wireless needs do you have? 2.4Ghz or with 5Ghz? |
