Durham, NC | [TWC] Cisco 8642HDC - Is there a list of known to work eSata dis New Signature customer. TWC says the eSata port is active
but their list of supported disks has disappeared. Does anyone
know if there is a list of known to work hard drives / cases?
Does the eSata drive add to or replace the internal drive?
Will the other Whole House DVRs still share the programing?

Separately, do the USB ports (either front or rear) have any
useful function, does the Ethernet port have a function?
One DVR is close to the modem / router, the other is isn't.
I wondered about the USB ports possibly being only for
firmware maintenance, but I understand TWC does this
by pushing to the cable in port. Then I thought maybe
for media playing, or possibly for a USB keyboard for
setting up recordings or searches? |
