C9+1... Welcome to the Twilight Zone

The night was dark, but even if there was light, everything would still be black and white. Gomez ran and ran, panting hard, shouting for help, until something stopped him. Gomez screamed like a girl.

It stood in silence, staring at Gomez with a constipated look. Gomez was unsure for a moment what the look meant, but decided not to provoke the creature, and instead turned around to run back. Someone else stood behind him. "Raaaaah!" it tried to growl, rather lamely. " Gomez is mine", said the new creature, Jacob, and pulled on Gomez 's right hand. "No, Gomez is mine! Aaah!" said the constipated looking creature, Edward, grabbing Gomez 's left hand, while retaining the constipated look the whole time.

The two creatures pulled on Gomez back and worth, whining and throwing hissy fits while Gomez screamed like a little girl.

Then a wolf appeared and ripped Gomez 's left arm. Than a man appeared and ripped off Gomez 's right arm. The two stepped back.

The man simply laughed, revealing a real vampire's theeth. "Your body's dying. Pay no attention, It happens to us all." said the first to Gomez .

The wolf transformed into a very sophisticated man, also revealing a real vampire's set of teeth. "The blood is the life... and it shall be mine. " said the second to Gomez .

The two newcomers laughed diabolically before jumping on poor Gomez . They ripped his legs apart, then the second ripped out his heart and drank from it, while the first ripped off Gomez 's head and drank from the neck. Gomez 's last thoughts weren't any better as he realized who he is: "WTF!!! I'm the goddamn Bella!?!?????? Aaah, I hate my life!!!!"

Jacob looked at the remaining fingers of Gomez that he was holding, then screamed like a girl, transformed into a wolf and ran away. Edward gave the fingers in his hand a constipated look, then gave the two new creatures a constipated look as they finished off with Gomez .

"What, you want to fight?" asked the first.

Edward's reply was summed up by a constipated look.

"Child, if you have to go, then go. We will be gracious guests and wait." said the second.

Again, Edward replied with a constipated look.

The two shrugged and ripped Edward to pieces.

On the next day, the Cullen family called a meeting to find the vile fiends who did that to poor Gomez Bella and Edward.

Oh geeze. Not Twilight references. I just finished reading the Hunger Games, which deceptively starts out like 1984 by the first book, but channels Twilight full out by the end of the third.

What kind of crap are you reading?!

OMGUS!! It's a heart-moving story about a young girl who protects her mother and sister from a totalitarian government after her father dies in a mining accident... by volunteering to take part in gladiatorial games where she has to kill 23 other teenagers to win. Totally badass.

I actually just finished Mockingjay as well, and though I haven't read any Twilight books, the love story did get a little overwhelming towards the end.

Im going to read the books and hopefully get them done before the movies come out. The trailer for the first one looks awesome.

I read them all in a week on my Droid. They're very fast, but the emotional drama by the second/third book is just too much.

I'm reading Dune again. Because I'm not a teenage girl.



I also have been reading Cherie Priests Clockwork Century novels. They are pretty good, but the characters aren't memorable and she gets confusing sometimes when she circles around subjects.

I recently read the Boneshaker... That world is very cool, but yeah, those characters were very 1 dimensional....

Also recently read Blindsight and now going through the Rifters "Trilogy" by Peter Watts... now those are some interesting characters!

I may have to check out his work. Just read up on him. Sorry he got into an altercation at the border. That sucks.

And yeah, even reading subsequent Clockwork novels, I always have to look up characters that "I think" were in previous ones. I just can't remember them, they are so one sided.

Anyway, back to the game. Keeping my vote on KrisN, just for shits and giggles.
