Malware Bytes claims HamPal is Trojan

I just ran malwarebytes, and of course it updates before doing so, and after all these years of no problem, it is now saying Hampal is a trojan.

Think I should just ignore this?
Pretty sure I can, but you never know anymore.

Its a legit paid for program/software. Been using it for years now.

I'm sure Malwarebytes would like to know about the false positive.

I give up. The log doesnt even show that it claimed HamPal was a trojan.
But I know it was in the box of results.
I was running another scan at the same time. Maybe it caused a glitch.

This is making me look like a fool now, and I don't understand why the darn log doesn't even reflect what it was telling me.

Did you follow the instructions in the False positives forum?

quoting MB instructions:

Before reporting a false positive, you need to save a log in developer mode. This will allow us to figure out how the false positive came to be. Simply follow these directions.

1. Click the Start Menu.
2. Click Run.
3. Type in "mbam.exe /developer", without the quotes.
4. Run the same type of scan you did before and save the logfile and post it.

Additionally, please attach the file with your post. Make sure it is in ZIP or RAR format.

Note: The above need not be done for IP false\positives.

My apologies for the redundant info if you already did this.

Yes I did, but ends up there is nothing in the log that states it previously was considered a trojan.
I even ran a second scan and nothing came up. And I still have HamPal's .exe file on the hard drive.
So I dont know what happened unless it was due to me having another scan going on (Avast), and that caused a glitch or something.

I normally don't have more than one scan going on at one time, but I was freaking out I guess, since I am also getting redirects when going to any google site.
But was able to figure out that one.

Just for a follow up. Again malewarebyes said HamPAL was a trojan.
Some times it does it some times it doesn't.

I reported it to them (malewarebytes) and they said it would be corrected in the next update.

Very fast response from the by the way.
