| WIRED Linksys WRTP54G Extremely slow versus Other Router When I hardwire my modem directly to my laptop or through a different router, I get a download speed in the 25MBps range. When I hardwire through my Linksys WRTP54G router/ATA, my download speed is in the 8MBps range. I know it's a very old router but should I be seeing a decrease in speed of nearly 70%?
The obvious thing to do is use my other router - but I need the ATA part of the Linksys for VoIP.
Any advice as to whether there's anything I can do to get the same throughput would be sincerely appreciated. If it sounds like the it's a hardware issue, I'll just buy a new router and/or ATA.
