Tullahoma, TN | p2p I know this isn't the right forum, but i can't seem to find the p2p section. Is there a good 3rd party app that will let u rip the audio from youtube videos to a mp3 format? Is this legal? I know there are sites u can input the url and it will dot it, but i'm looking for a standalone program. Thanks,

No because the only way to extract the mp3/audio track is to stream the actual video and grab the audio along the way.

I use the YouTube Downloader app and it's pretty quick. Sure you have to grab the MP4 video file first then convert it to mp3, but it literally takes 3-5 minutes to complete. But of course everything is dependent on how fast YouTube is working that day.  |
