Re: [Qwest] Sharedband review FAST BONDED INTERNET!
@Toby The modem's are 2 PK5000 modem's from Qwest you can use whatever modem you want.
The two routers they wanted me to get were a Linksys WRT54GL.
How do I get lines for $20 a month? I've been a customer with Qwest for over then 18 years.... First line has the 5 year price lock.... with home phone, 2nd line is some promotion they were doing $20 for 6 months if I liked the after 6 month's I call in and get another one....
is there any way you could post pics of your setup up.and how does this work exactly you have your two modems then those connect to the two routers and from there is there just an Ethernet cable coming from one of the routers you can plug into your own router wan port?
Once I get home I will post picture's of the setup,
This is how I can describe it. I have two modem's from Qwest/Centurylink PK5000's I plug a ethernet cable into the port on the modem and then i go to the internet port on the router, the other modem is the same on the 2nd router, then one router connects to the other router by ethernet cable port 1 to port 2 on the switch, then i take a ethernet cable from one of those and plug it into my switch very odd setup but it works good.
thanks the max speed here is 1.5 mbps and we already have two lines first is in another persons name for just phone service and the 2nd is in my name for internet so i would have to see if cl would run a third line to my house from the pedestal. I dont if its worth it for 3.0mbps but maybe.but if somehow i get a third line with dsl and get dsl on the first line i could have 4.5 mbps but that probably a lot of money a month.
hey sorry for bringing up a old post. but just wondering if everything is still going well for you. I ordered another line from cl im bonding two 1.5 lines and see how that goes.
