And now yet another for the iPad app/myservices bullshtt!
I don't use the same password for all and I keep them simple and rarely change them. iPad app has locked me out a couple times now where it thinks I have the wrong password.....but I don't have the wrong password! It is 100% correct and still says it failed. WTF is so difficult about password technology in 2011 that TWC can't get this shtt right?

You can go into settings, find the TW App and set it to remember the password every time you open it.

| No, not logging in each time. It actually remembers and then after a week or two, it'll simply prompt for a sign in again. (No reboot of the router/modem or anything like that, just spontaneously ask) And what's really weird that I forgot before was, last time it did this, I put in the right password, it didn't recognize it as such, but left, came back minutes later, it just went directly to the TV programming. 
In this case, today, I had to go to MyServices, retrieve a password reset, then start over, reusing the password I used before. Once I did that, it was fine (had to do that on my PC cuz my ipad2 is using ios5 which has its own problems right now) and went directly to the programming w/o asking for p/w once I turned the ipad on.
I'd almost say maybe there's a VERY outside chance it was ios5, but my wife's ipad2 is still on 4.xx as I told her not to upgrade & she's the one that brought the ipad app not working to my attention.
Combine that with my brand new Toyota that's sucking hard and I've got waaaaaay too many new things that are not working and contributing to my "WTF is going on here" attitude.

| It's probably not ios5 related then. However if you haven't had any problems with ios5 at all, consider yourself lucky. (see apple forums)
And on yet another note, when I try to post here, I have to sign in before I reply because if I reply and use the quick link to supply username and password, it says I've got the wrong one. Seriously? |
