| Kaiser Rolls In case there are any others here who long for *REAL* Kaiser rolls and mourn their being all but extinct here in the NCA, I found a place that has good ones. Breads Unlimited on Arlington Rd in Bethesda (at Bradley Blvd, next to Strosneider's Hardware). I shouldn't have to tell my fellow purists to get the loose ones, not packaged. 
The only downside is it's a schlep there if you're not in the Bethesda area, and rolls just don't keep. (Yeah, you could freeze them, but you'll lose a good deal of the flavor.)
