Re: [NFL] Divisional Weekend Discussion I agree, rockot. I happened to see that in a replay last night again...(beside seeing it live in the actual game), and it was a pretty brutal hit. Really makes me wonder about the damn Refs. Hey, if they're going to call it, let's at least try to be consistent about it, regardless of what kind of past 'reputation' a player supposedly has. Just call it the way it is, and by the rules. (What ever the hell the rules are...hard to tell sometimes these days). -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

| The rules in the Giants @ Packers game were clearly different from any other game. Osi put the perfect hit on Rodgers and got called for roughing to keep the Packers drive going. Bull-fucking-shit.
It kind of pisses me off that the team I wanted to win, won, and I'm still pissed off about the officiating. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

And the league probably would have come out with some new 'protecting the passer rule' where you can only sack a quarterback by asking nicely to go down. -- Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war |

| reply to Voxxjin Yeah, Osi hit Rodgers below his shoulders, and Rodgers fell into Tuck.

| After watching the play a few times, I'm surprised he wasn't more seriously hurt. When he hit Tuck, he was literally off of the ground, with his head making contact with Tuck moving towards him.
