| [Equipment] Galaxy Nexus & One-Way Audio Issues I have been having issues with the Nexus in making calls. On multiple occasions, the party on the other end will no longer be able to hear me. I can still hear them fine. The call never "drops", but you must hang up and redial.
I am on my second unit and SIM card. After researching some other forums, it appears that I am not the only person having this issue.
Please post a reply if you are having similar issues with your Nexus. Thus far, I have not been able to get Verizon to acknowledge that there is an issue with this device. |

 | I am having the same issue. Happened 3 times yesterday on a drive between Summerville and Charleston- once while sitting in a parking lot with great coverage. |

| reply to shealyse One-way audio and poor reception continued, and was extremely frustrating when I was in a store where I could make calls with a Droid Bionic in one hand and nothing on the Galaxy Nexus in the other hand.
I suspect that updates will ultimately resolve most of the issues, but I could not wait. I returned the phone and accessories on 1/15/12 (last day for holiday returns). I was given a full refund- no restock fee. I am now back on the Thunderbolt for the moment.
The Nexus looked great, but I need a phone that would actually allow you to make reliable calls. |

| reply to shealyse I broke down and ordered the RAZR Maxx. So far, so good. I really liked the Nexus. I hope that they can fix things via an OTA update. I just don't know about the poor reception of the device (not talking about the number of bars on the signal meter as we all know that doesn't tell the true story). I think that part is in the design. |
