| [Rant] ARGGGGGGGGG! EFF U PAYPAL! WT* --- What is this ass-a-nine policy where-by I give you my credit card in confidentiality and you choose to charge my bank account, causing me ridiculous fees.... I selected my cc, you tell me I selected a credit card.... it was a good card, used before numerous times... and then you bill my m-fin bank account!
THEN TO ADD TO MY MISERY, I FIND OUT THAT YOU TOOK THE SAME AMOUNT FROM MY VISA TOO!!! AND YOU WONT CREDIT EITHER MY CC, BANK ACCOUNT OR MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT THE 42.50....

Charged bank account I was using only for deposit when I'm pretty sure I had selected my credit card... the thing is that this bank account was always empty. (Once I received money from one of the few sales I've done on eBay, I moved to money to another account) So I also had to pay some stupid 30$ fees TWICE to my bank because there was not enough money in the account and PayPal tried to get money out of it 2 times in a row... =_=
I ended up removing my bank account from PayPal and closed all accounts at that bank too.
I also closed my account at that bank... 30$ fees to reject a payment of ~15$ because there isn't enough money in my account? Seriously? |

| reply to zacron As an update, I got the name of a super at PayPal and TD Bank, I've since had a credit from both parties in a conference call.
Essentially they have agreed to pay 1/2 of the fee owing and share the responsibility. Also PayPal has agreed to adjust their checkout system to make it known to you in a more obvious way that it's defaulted back to the bank account and explain why.
I am being credited the 42.50 nsf fee today.
Thank you TD Bank and PayPal for the arduous argument and having to get my lawyer involved to get any action what so ever. I will be cancelling my accounts at paypal and will start using my credit card processor account for those sales on ebay. -- "Don't be dense, use common sense" »/im/95892602/3467.png |

psafuxPremium,VIP join:2005-11-10 kudos:2 | reply to zacron I have several bank accounts and several credit cards attached to my paypal account. You are given at least two opportunities to select where the funds are coming from before authorizing the purchase. I agree, it needs to be made more obvious though.
In any case, that sucks :\ |

| reply to zacron Honestly, I've never had any issues before with PayPal. I always print every page for a transaction, all the way along.
Anyway, I do agree that I over reacted but it's just so fustrating that after 2000+ sucessful transactions that it was so incredibly difficult to talk to someone.
All in all, after getting some legal pressure on them, my issue was resolved... Really all I wanted was a change in the system, the money really wasn't important.
Thanks for your input all.
