I've had my 2wire with the wireless off since I began using it. My son bought a Nook yesterday, so I turned the wireless on. He saw our 2wire (along with several other 2wires and a Netgear). His connection was strong but the Nook kept trying to switch to the weaker Netgear wireless. I had what I guess was the top down, so I turned it right side up. The problem went away. I guess the antenna is on the top?
