Seattle, WA | Dead USG200 - "Enter runlevel:" prompt on console? Just picked up a used USG200...unfortunately, the SYS light continuously flashes. I can connect to the console and get the following prompt:
Enter runlevel:
Anyone know what to do about this before I try and return this thing? |

Seattle, WA | I opened up the console and possibly missed the hit a key for debug message in the three second window.
Anyone know what displays on the console if you miss that? |

Well...I was able to get the unit into debug mode, upload the Recovery Image and boot the FTP Server. I can connect to the FTP server as instructed, but when I try to PUT the firmware image to the device, I get a 200 Port Command Successful message from the FTP client and it then just sits there. Ultimately, the ZyWALL (from the console) will report that the firmware format is invalid.
I set BINARY mode and am trying to upload the latest firmware. Any ideas? |

The Recovery Image doesn't like Windows 7 FTP Client. Connected up to my Win2K3 server and all is well. What a saga! |
