Can I Get More Download Speed From the E4200?

I have Qwest/CenturyLink as my ISP, and have my Zyxel Q100 Bridged to my E4200. I just moved up to CenturyLink's 40/20 service. I have my main computer, running OSX 10.7.2, wired to the E4200. My upload speed IMO is fine at 16mbps. However, my download speed is at 33.6mbps. I've been trying to get it a little higher through my E4200.

Changing the MTU's doesn't help. Does anyone have any other ideas? I have the latest firmware.

How many speedtest servers have you tested against? You need at least 5 samples from servers located in different locations. The servers in close proximity to your location will yield the best results.

IMO, your posted results are very good --- the E4200 is not your weakest link -- the Zyxel Q100 [ethernet port] may be the weak link if the ethernet port on the Q100 is not gigabit. Firmware and the associated CPU are related -- typically gigabit interfaces require more robust cpu's to handle the throughput demands.
