| Configuring Windows for Bit Torrent over VPN connnectionI am told that a better anonymity is ensured when Bit Torrent applications ( and Windows) are configured in such a way that the Windows Firewall allows the Bit Torrent app to open only over the VPN proxy server and not the Internet.
For this purpose, I am planning on using a Bit Torrent app called Bit Spirit over an open VPN Proxy server called Your Freedom.
Does anybody know how to configure the Windows Firewall rules to this end?
The U Torrent Forum (»forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=85926) gives a step by step guide about how to do this, but only with U Torrent.
I tried to follow the same steps for Bit Spirit instead of U Torrent , but in the Windows FIREWALL ADVANCED SECURITY screen Bit Spirit is not even listed, only U Torrent and a lot of other stuff..
Can anybody tell me how can I set up the same Firewall rules for Bit Spirit as for U Torrent?I am on Windows 7 Home ed.
