That sounds like it would have been a good season starter or filler show.

Bummer they didn't film it/complete it/air it.

Well, there's always the books. I picked up a novel at the library, but I think it's tied more to the graphic novel rather than the TV series. Still a good read.

It would have made a great season-starter episode, I think.
But if the rest of season 2 stayed the same, I would have been even more disappointed in it's slowness after a great start.
