| [WTB] Western Digital Caviar SE PATA 3.5 inch drives I'm seeking Western Digital Caviar SE PATA 3.5" drives. More specifically, drives that have JB in the model number. The JB in the model number means Jewel Bearing and also means that the drive has an 8 mb cache. For example, WD400JB is a 40 gb PATA drive. The capacities I'm seeking are anywhere from 40 to 320 gb. I'd be happy with a 40 and two 160 drives, but I'd consider others. All of which depends on your asking price. These drives aren't the fastest PATA, but I've had very good reliability with the 120 gig drive size and that counts for something. |

I believe I have 2x160's and 2x120's that I used to have in a RAID. I will check their model numbers when I get home, but I believe the 160's are the 8MB cache. |
