| Looking to listen in on Motorola (or crapola) trunked system I'm looking to listen in on the motorola system in use my the local transit agencys and other misc gov't faciltys.
Any idea what scanner would be best for this application

| Looking at the frequencies/systems on RadioReference, I would go with a Uniden 996 / 396, which can handle the P25 transit system, and the Moto and LTR trunked systems of the other agencies.
GRE makes radios that can do it too, but I don't know anything about them. |

The Uniden 396 is an excellent scanner which can monitor just about any non-scrambled system.
