It was a fine day in the spring of 1478. One of the good townsmen were taking a stroll along the river, when he came upon a burned out corpse. With horror he went back to the town screaming about what he had found. There must be a group of evildoers in our midst they thought, and set out to find the killers.

"HIS EXCELLENCY LORD SAXONY MENINGITIS HAS HEARD OF THESE MURDERS AND COME TO TOWN TO HEAR YOUR CONCERNS AND ASSIST IN THE DISPENSATION OF SWIFT JUSTICE"
