New Firmware: DPC3825

Just noticed I have new firmware on my rented DPC3825. Not sure when it happened.

It's in bridged mode (and has been from day one).

Big change seems to be that I can now see the DOCSIS log when in bridged mode.

Thanks for the heads up. No new firmware here yet but Ottawa is usually behind Toronto for upgrades.

Same here. 2nd hop is the Newmarket hub.

Bootloader Revision: 2.3.0_R3
Current Software Revision: dpc3825-v302r125533-111108a-ROG
Firmware Name: dpc3825-v302r125533-111108a-ROG.bin

EDIT: The issue with the system time appears to be fixed, DST is still screwed but you can just turn it off.

Just got updated in Oshawa area.

Current Software Revision: dpc3825-v302r125533-111108a-ROG
Firmware Name: dpc3825-v302r125533-111108a-ROG.bin
Firmware Build Time: Nov 8 18:12:42 2011

Confirm DOCSIS log now available, and some other minor changes to menu. Uplink buffering still awful (530ms), according to ICSI Netalyzr.

Since I received this update a few days ago, my DPC3825 reboots itself every day. The DOCSIS log shows 'Booting up the Cable Modem' with the most recent date, and the previous days entries for reboots are not in the log.

At first it wasn't doing that for me, but now I am seeing more frequent modem reboots too.

Yup, me too, once per day since the upgrade.

Another oddity is that I checked the log yesterday and I am positive it showed a reboot for Friday (yesterday) but it is now gone and today's (Saturday) reboot seems to have replaced it.

UPDATE: My modem has not rebooted since Saturday morning now.

My last reboot looks to have been the 20th.

Yes, the reboots have stopped . . .

. . . however as I described above, I am definitely noticing that if the description of a logged event is the same as the previous, it seems to overwrite the last event. Pretty odd.
